PREAMBLE-SATNA UNIT

Jaiprakash Associates Limited (JAL) is putting-up a cement project (Project : ISPAT CEMENT) in joint venture with SAIL at Satna, Madhya Pradesh and split grinding unit at Bhilai,Chattisgarh, which is likely to be commissioned by December 2009 JAL is to set-up Clinkerisation Plant, at Satna (Madhya Pradesh) with a clinker capacity of 3300 tpd and the cement manufacturing as under:

The Clinker shall be sent by Rail despatch to Bhilai wherein the split Grinding Unit of ISPAT CEMENT Project is located for manufacture of PSC.

The location of the clinkerisation plant is at village Birhauli of Tehsil Raghuraj Nagar, District satna, Madhya Pradesh and the cement grinding plant is in Bhilai Steel Plant at Slag End Road.
